Good call on the Pens game.
Wild cashed for me. And now I'm looking at overnight lines and see the Red Wings are +130 underdogs against the Blues on a back to back after they just got whipped 8-3.. rumors theybwere pissed about that trade, had already been struggling, and now this ? I have a feeling this line will not hold up. I would like to grab it now but can't make myself grab one so early.

Terrible loss for Jets. They had control of that game.

Ryan Reeves doing Ryan Reeves things. Which means he's not really playing hockey, just hitting anything that moves, legally or not.

I guess that’s why Penguins moved him then.

Your thoughts on your Blues at home tonight against the Wings ? Just wondering if that game crushed whatever soul Tarasenko had left along with the rest of the team.
And Jeff , the line is now +145. Something seems off. Hutton came in and continued to get shat on. Allen got shat on. No rest. But the line keeps moving their way. What the hell is going out out here?!?!

I'm guessing Detroit trading away mrazek, and being garbage on the road?
this is a historical rivalry and st. louis might sack up and defend their ice against the hated red wings.

That's true. Blues are still better on paper but the line movement is just confusing. I'm guessing Vegas wants people to hammer Detroit thinking Blues will finally snap the streak.

The Cup will be in Nashville this year, boys

Is it Blues Wings tonight?

Predators are looking like the team to beat. Anything can happen in the playoffs, especially if a goalie goes cold or hot but from top to bottom, offensively and defensively, the Predators are stacked. All 4 lines are dangerous. They also know how to play from behind because they have done it a lot of times this year. That's good experience for a team to know that no matter how many goals they are down, they have the ability to come back.
LOVE my Predators and the Harman deal.

Good lord how did they not call that? that is the definition of boarding.

Both goalies were horrible last night. Tarasenko scored twice. So he hasn’t quit. 8-3 is quite the arse whipping. I wouldn’t be bold enough to bet on the Blues anymore. They have to win eventually, but the team looks like it has quit.

I think the danger for the Preds is how rough their road looks. Based on the current standings, they'd be playing the Ducks in the first round, but they could just as easily be playing the Stars, Flames, or Kings. That's a pretty tough 1st round opponent for a top seed. Then they will likely get the Jets, followed by the Knights. That's a brutal draw.
Meanwhile, the Bolts will get the 5th place Metro team and easily the worst team in the playoffs. OK, they then will have to play either the Bruins or Leafs, who look great, but then they will play the Metro champ. And let's not mince words, the Metro looks liked minced dogshit this season. They'll likely get a Penguins team with a concussed goalie, a Flyers team with a castoff goalie, or a Caps team without a defense.
If I'm betting on the Stanley Cup champ right now, I'm betting on the Bolts. They've got maybe the best player in the league (hell, they have two MVP candidates), a great defense, and an even better goalie.
