Ok, puckheads... have at it. Today is cut down, when all rosters must be cap compliant and down to a maximum of 23 players. Players are clearing waivers and the reality of just how bad your team is and how there is no hope left in the universe is setting in.

Wish I could get some of the Thursday games. I am amped for the CBJ opener Friday night though.
Jackets finally got a deal with Josh Anderson done after he held out all of training camp. I don't imagine that sits very well with Torts.

I don't expect him to be in the lineup this week. Torts will probably make him go through the same conditioning skates everyone else had to.
Excited to watch Dubois. He's been fantastic since he moved back to wing.

Caps start out slow. Trotz buckles down even more on defensive play to save his arse. Burns out the players. Slip in the playoffs as 7th or 8th seed and get knocked out in round 1.
