Tons of pointless debate happening in this thread.
The heisman is totally narrative driven at this point. I think we just have to swallow that until someone comes along that can make us see the award in a different light. For now, it'll just be the best QB or RB on the favorite team to win it all at the end of the year almost every time.
Henry is a good RB, but he isn't the best player in the country. He isn't even the best player on his team. But hey, he scores TDs so he's the best!!!

If you simply flip who Henry and McCaffrey play for, McCaffrey wins it. It's why this award has become a joke.

Nope.
Football is a much more offensively oriented game than it was when Herschel and Bo played.
The blocking rules are much more relaxed as far as holding goes. Do you really think that Herschel would have averaged only 5.2 yards per carry under today's version of college football.

True, but LF at 6 is a joke as well. One game shouldn't negate his entire season. Henry wasn't even talked about until the LSU game, Leonard was forgotten that game. Such bullshite. I honestly think the MSB would do a better job at voting for this award.
