Did you not just watch your back up PG likely save OKC's season?
Oh Reggie is def the 6th man. But Mo could play SG with Reggie and be nasty. They'd be a bit small but they're basically running Old Man Fisher out there with Reggie now, which is the same size challenges Mo would cause.

My only response was, "Of course."
And there is something about this city and free throws. The Tigers blew their chance at a championship because of them. One of my friends tweeted that everyone in the city should be forced to shoot free throws a day from now on.

I always start and end my workouts with free throws. No excuse for any baller to NOT practice ft's, IMO.

Apparently y'all tried like heck to sign Tony Allen and Mike Miller in the offseason. KD even flew to Florida to try to convince Mike to come to OKC.
Let's just say I'm glad it didn't work out

No, retard. You have the loudest voice on this board. Taking a step back, it's odd to see a fan base of a losing team trolling so hard on a team that was much more successful and is playing good basketball in games that matter.
Damn, Fearthehat rustling some jimmies

Haven't been in this thread the last two games because I've been watching at my buddy's house, but this series has been amazing to watch. I really thought we were going to blow it tonight after LA missed both free throws and we fouled Daniels shooting the 3.
Can't wait for Wendesday.

Its possible that we could get four 7 game series in round 1 in the Western Conference. Its just insane.
On one hand, I love watching this. On the other, I'm really concerned that the Western Conference is gonna beat each other up too much while the Heat have a cake walk to the finals.

I pretty much assumed this was how it was gonna be from the get-go

I mean, I thought at least OKC and SA would win in 5-6 games, but nothing difficult. And I didn't think Indiana would keep playing as shitty as they are.
But shite, could you imagine if the Heat had to play any of these Western Conference teams in round one instead of the fricking Bobcats?

The WC is crazy good. It's been awesome. Honestly, just sit back and enjoy the playoffs. Despite what most think, I don't think the Heat are good enough to Cakewalk to the finals. Last year's Heat team could. This year's? I don't think so.

I figured SA would face a stiff challenge from DAL, but was hoping MEM would at least rough up OKC a little. Both top seeds got more than they bargained for

Precisely. MIA is a very good team, but they have a HUGE benefit not having to scrap with the Western teams on a regular basis, and especially not having to run the playoff gauntlet year in/year out.

It's gotten to the point where I almost wish I didn't have a rooting interest at all. This first round has been a smorgasbord of terrific basketball, and as a fan of the game I've been enjoying it immensely.

A lot of people didn't realize that the Grizz have actually had a better record in 2014 than OKC.

Yeah I guess I forget how slow of a start Memphis had with Gasol out early on. And its really easy to overlook teams like Memphis because you don't see them on ESPN every day like you do with the Heat, Thunder, Pacers, etc.

So far in the Western Conference Playoffs:
Spurs/Mavs: Game 1 was a burn-burner that required a 19-4 run in the last 6 minutes or so for the Spurs to win. Game 3 was decided on a buzzer beater from a guy whose career best in-game basketball moment prior to this one was a dunk he had in what was essentially an international practice game. This was supposed to be the easiest series, and the 1 seed is trailing.
OKC/Grizz: After a Game 1 blowout, we've had 3 straight overtime games. Three, and the series is tied. Amidst Westbrook/Allen doing both criminally insane and athletically brilliant things on a basketball court, Durant hitting the best 4-point play I've ever seen in my life, and a 6th man hitting shots with grapefruit sized nuts to save his team's season on the road, it's easy to forget that this is round one and the winner of this probably has to play the Clippers for a right to be 2 series away from maybe winning a title. The 2014 Western Conference, everybody!
Clippers/Warriors: After a 40-point blowout, it looked as though we finally found our cakewalk series in the West. This idea was reinforced by a missed last shot (coughblatantuncalledfoulthateverybodyiscoolwithbecauseit'schrispaulandhecandothatkindashitforsomereasoncough) from Steph Curry that sucked the air out of the arena. Then an owner said some ignorant shite and the players seemed genuinely distracted and Curry went ape-shite. The result? A 2-2 series. Say what you will about Golden State, I would not frick around with a team that can get hot and shoot like that. One good night where Curry/Thompson both go nuts and they're unbeatable. Oracle is not the place to be in a must-win scenario.
Houston/Blazers: I know the Houston fans have been getting a hard time, but with 3/4 overtime games with the fourth game coming down to the last few possessions as well, this is actually in my opinion the closest series. Not a single blowout for either side; both teams were just as close to getting swept as they were to sweeping.
So that's the West. Meanwhile in the east, the Heat are prison raping the Bobcats whose best player got hurt 10 minutes into Game 1, and the most interesting thing that's happened in that series is jesus elbowing Lebron in the throat before he inexplicably stared down MJ. Gripping stuff there!
The Wiz have been awesome to watch, though, and I hope they at least scare the Heat in the ECF.
