Mapes has struggled

Probably wont start again.

The bullpen I don't think is as good as advertised

Disagree here.

I'm not sold on Ponder yet at all

I think he's pretty solid. He finally gets to focus 100% on baseball now that he's done with football, I think he'll be one of the top 2 or 3 out of the bullpen.

Byo pitched well the last two weeks and I believe he will eventually be the Sunday guy
He may move to the weekend could also be McKenzie or Napoli in that role. Napoli has been lights out this season.

Tulane is going to struggle hitting good pitching
Yeah, they are better equipt than last season though. Should make a regional this season, IMO.

Just telling youthat they gave more talent than LSU and I assume that will relate to better conference record as it has the last couple of years ..

They are exactly two games better than LSU in Conference over the last two seasons combined. LSU swept them in 2010 including a win in the SEC tourney, but Alabama took two of three last year.

Yeah...LSU has beaten them five games to two over the last two seasons. Bama has finished one game better than LSU in conference in each of the past two seasons. You're right, recent history proves they are heads and shoulders above LSU in talent...

I think they will make a regional also, I know Rice will be good, haven't really looked at the other CUSA teams yet. They won't be facing a bunch of teams that have arms like Nola so I believe the offense should be able to score some runs. The weekend guys have to get deeper into the games and they have to find that 3rd starter. Mckenzie is really hit and miss, and Mapes has struggled. Napoli is okay, I think they should leave him in the bullpen because the rotation hasn't been getting deep into games. If Ponder can keep it up, that will be good for the bullpen because Facundus is pretty good.

are you joking dude or are you really that pissed about losing? alabama will probably finish somewhere between 10-12 in the conference.

lsu's 4th pitcher (probably eventually 3rd) straight up dominated and if maineiri would have let him probably would have complete shut you out in your own park. yet bama is better. i havent seen that kind of delusion in a long time.

Reeves(currentyl injured) is supposed to be really good too. Can start if necessary but will most likely close. I dont know a whole lot about him, but I hear jones really likes him.

Mckenzie is really hit and miss

When he throws strikes he's usually good, but in his one start he literally couldnt throw one.

He's been pretty good so far. If he starts I think he can get deep into the game. He's come out of the bullpen and thrown 6 once and 7.2 in another.

Southeastern lost at Jackson State tonight.

Louisiana Tech managed to lose to Centenary tonight. They aren't even playing D1 ball at Centenary anymore.

My cousin played for Jesuit last year, and in the LHSAA playoff game he alone, had as many basehits against Nola as Tulane did tonite.

They just took 2/3 from Alabama and beat the hell out of Southeastern. I guess you can find out more about them after this weekend. They've got Wichita State.

bama: 5-7
wichita st: 7-6

neither team is very good.

That doesn't sound too good.

Cajuns started a juco transfer , he was relieved by a freshman, game was closed by a sophomore.

All of our runs came off of the bat of Dylan Butler, a freshman.

We're gonna be good as shite next year.
