Perhaps, but that's because Osborne began recruiting an entirely different style of athlete in the 90s. They beat a Miami defense in Miami that had four NFL 1st-rounders in 94, including Lewis & Sapp, and the 95 team was much better. Put up 552 yards rushing against a Saban defense.

You literally said a back who was cut and was a role player for his new team was better than the consensus first team all-pro back who was one of the few in history to run for over 2k yards. And what’s worse is you still won’t admit you were wrong about them. Maybe you need to turn off Excel and watch the games.

They were not much better. If 1995 Nebraska plays that same Miami defense in the Orange Bowl they don’t score 62 pts. and people look at them a little more realistically.
