im sorry, but beating 5 top 10 teams by 20 is jut as good or better than beating 4 by 31. You are showing you are simply dominant either way

It really isn't. The Alabama game was a one/two possession game throughout the entirety of the fourth quarter; the Florida game was back and forth until late; and the Clemson game was close until the middle of the third quarter or so. The only games that were blow outs from the word "go" were Oklahoma and Georgia.

All four games 1995 Nebraska played against Top 10 teams were over by halftime. When you are trying to compare two teams from different eras and name one team better than the other, it's more about how you beat them than it is just beating them.

they never trailed bama, got up by 20, and everytime Bama got it to one possession LSU immediately scored and made it two possessions again. They dominated from before the word go was said

They beat the frick out of Clemson too. Lsu was up double digits at halftime and won by 17

Define “touching them.” A 3-8 Washington State team played them to two TD’s in Lincoln.

I can tell you didn't watch that game. Frazier was gimpy, but was forced to play because Berringer had an even worse injury. Despite that, they still rushed for 428 yards and won by 2 TDs, despite the backups giving up 2TDs in the 4Q.

they won by 5

Nebraska's starters outscored their opponents 538-42

What LSU fans forget is that in 95, Wuerffel was similar to Burrow, setting all sorts of records and the fun n' gun was pretty much unstoppable... they blew out Peyton Manning's Tennessee squad by 25. Against Florida, Nebraska had another TD called back (would've counted had replay existed back then) and the reserves were on verge of scoring again at the end of the game but took a knee instead. Plus a missed XP. That's 77 points they could've put up on Florida

except burrow has proven in yesr 2 to be one of the very best QBs on the planet, and wuerfel couldn’t even start ever in the nfl…..

That’s why nfl success matters in these conversations. It shows who was successful because of scheme, and who was dominant because of who they were in their dna

Nebraska had a good scheme. They couldn’t even make the nfl as players. LSU is dominant in both college and the nfl. It ain’t close friend

Remember, you're talking to someone who didn't start watching CFB until 2000.

You are a Florida fan trying to act like you have football history?

ETA: also my uncle played on the 95 Nebraska team. Pretty sure I have a good grasp of their history Thanksgiving arguments have been off the chain recently

bullshite. I just watched the end of the game.

Bottom line, LSU won two games by single-digits. That's hardly the GOAT. Nebraska's games were all over by halftime -- that season they led by double digits at halftime in every single game.

No shot divulge that

Also had a cousin play for LSU early 90s. If you want to rabbit hole your way to connecting the dots go ahead

Was way easier was a young kid in the early 90s to root for Nebraska than LSU……

the difference is that LSU played 3 more games

That's like me saying I got 12/12 right on a test, and you saying you got 12 right on your test as well... except your test had 15 questions

Answering 15 questions correct seems harder than a test with 12 questions, no?

For comparison, 2019 LSU’s final Sagarin rating (which includes all sorts of data including strength of schedule, margin of victory, and numerous other criteria) was 104.88.

Other notable teams:

2001 Miami: 108.70
2005 Texas: 106.03
1986 Oklahoma: 106.33
1991 Washington: 109.47
1972 Southern Cal: 107.66

1995 Nebraska had a Sagarin of 117.05.
