NBC Playing Through is trash

Try watching it on the app. You don’t even get the playing thru, just a commercial.

Lamprecht has been using TIO quite nicely today so far.

Anyone still complaining they aren’t showing DJ enough?

Pretty impressed with JT holding it together today after yesterday’s disaster. But obviously a lot easier when you feel zero pressure to make the cut. Rory’s iron play has been so bad today. If he can finish under par that would be a huge win.

The block right showed potential yesterday as he struggled to get his irons to draw. But today is a whole different level of the blocks for Rory with his irons.

Pick Brian Harmans final score on Sunday now

I’ll say -11. But -8 also sounds like a good number

Was hoping for a dream pairing of Harman and Lamprecht because it would have been hilarious.

Brian’s obviously played well in a couple majors but hasn’t won one so wouldn’t be surprised to see him come back to the field a little bit tomorrow.

How are they now? The Open is usually my favorite major to watch, but haven’t been able to tune in yet. Seeing the leader in the clubhouse at 10 under, I’d assume the wind was pretty benign and the course played soft for the guys who went out early today.

But then I see 2nd and 3rd place haven’t even gone out yet, and the next guy on the leaderboard in the clubhouse today is 4th, but 7 shots off the lead. Is Harman just killing it the 1st 2 rounds and his 10 under isn’t indicative of the difficulty of the course? Hitting everything close or just making bombs?

Of course, it’s only like 2:40 over there, and a lot of people haven’t gone off yet, so if the wind isn’t crazy, I’m sure at least a few guys will work their way up toward Harman by the end of the day. Or is he just having a magical Louis like 2010 Open at St. Andrews when he just ran away with it and won by 6 or 7, but it never really even seemed that close?
