Did he really though? Or did the man in his 70s rush a young and fit athlete in his prime and then fall down as Pedro side stepped him?

He handled that in the best way possible

Zimmer is a football guy. He went for the youngin and got bested. Miss all the shots you don't take.

Your definition of “beat up” differs from mine

Pedro was just being generous and trying to help catch a falling old man. Sadly, he underestimated the weight of the old man and couldn't catch him.

He showed great restraint. Nolan Ryan would have killed him

couldnt really fit "forcibly threw an elderly man to the ground" into the thread title

Bunch of snowflakes in this generation. Won't even beat up an old man

Weird. I just watched that clip last night. Dude seriously lost his mind on that call.
Didn't Zim tear-up in the PC after this scuffle took place? Admitted he was wrong and whatnot?

I mean....Zimmer did charge Pedro and put his hands on him first.

He realized he was about to face plant so he tried to whip him around so he'd land on his butt instead of his face. That's why it looks like he throws him to the ground.
Pedro deserves a medal for this

03-04 Yankees/Red sox was some great stuff.
Can't wait for the ALDS.

Shouldn’t have come at him that way. Some old man charges at me he’s catching a meaty knuckle sandwich. Pedro played it nice
