Blount talked shite all off-season.

I don’t know what happened to the Boise St player, but Blount went on and won Super Bowl rings with the Pats and Eagles.
Oregon actually bounced back and won the PAC 10 that year.

Sounds like you need to get over your need to watch sports. No chance you will watch a game without race and politics being brought up for long periods of time. Their ratings stay up then it will be shown as vindication.

From what I remember, Blount before the game said "we owe them an arse whoopin" because Boise beat the crap out of Oregon the year before (in Autzen no less). Then the gane happened and that high flying Oregon offense was held in check, Blount ran for -5 yards and they were embarrassed. The Boise dude went up and slapped Blount's shoulder pads and went "How was that arse whoopin?" and then the punch and subsequent events after that happened.
The only real thing you can say is if a sucker punch is deserved as some people like to claim, is if getting hit on the shoulder pads warrants it (it doesn't) to say the "Boise dude deserved it"
And then Blount tried to fight his teammates and the fans in the stands on top of it. All because he got a little shite talked to him after he spent the off-season talking as much shite as he did and following up with a -5 yard stat line.
If you're gonna talk all that shite in the off-season and you back it up with that kind of performance then yeah you should be ready to endure the clapback but Blount wasn't and instead threw a big temper tantrum and tried to fight anyone who was close to him.
He ended up winning some titles in the league. Good for him. He was still a huge bitch when it came to this moment, success in the league doesn't change that fact.

Actually, first year as WR coach, not a GA
It was also Chip Kelly's first year as the head coach at Oregon. Crazy to think how much has happened in that 11 years just in the football landscape.
Kelly took Oregon to new heights, has had two NFL jobs, and got the UCLA job in that time span.
Chris Petersen took the Wazzu job and retired in that time span.
Blount went from seemingly irredeemable outcast to 3x Super Bowl champion and Patriot fan favorite.
