What does Clemson beating Va Tech do to warrant them jumping over Ohio State? Nothing.

Wrong again.

Clemson now: 11-1, #3 SOS
Ohio State: 11-1, #2 SOS
Clemson if they beat Virginia Tech: 12-1 and with an SOS boost.

Makes perfect sense to say that the ACCCG is what could push Clemson over Ohio State.

Calling your schedule brutal is funny. Damn near everybody sucks this year. Your schedule wasn't brutal.

Literally every metric has Ohio State's schedule in the top 10, most in the top 3.

You're a dumbass if you don't think that brutal.

I don't think any of those teams are good. And I can't wait for you to claim OSU doesn't deserve to make it next year because you got these brutal games(minus OU) at home.

I didn't say it wasn't one of the toughest in the country. Where is Alabama's I think it's up there too.

It's far as frick from brutal.

Bama SOS is #1 (using the old BCS metric of two times your opponents' winning percentage plus one time your opponents' opponents' winning percentage, divided by three).

Nah it's brutal.

OSU has 1 less loss

After this weekend, beating OSU head to head, winning the division, and the conference, and having the same amount of wins, should absolutely trump the half game difference.

OSU is 3-1 against the Top 10
PSU is 1-1 against the Top 10

After his weekend is could be 3-1 to 2-1. Which is absolutely close enough them beating OSU head to head, winning the division, and winning the conference should trump that half game difference.

Clemson might, but I don't think a Va Tech win is an automatic vault, especially if it's close.

Washington has no shot. The resume gap is too big.

It's going to be close. I could see UW jumping into the top 3 with a convincing win over Colorado.

The old BCS rankings have UW at #3

Sorry, but "better record, tougher schedule" always ends up trumping everything ever since Auburn got shafted in 1993.

I don't think they'll be any surprises next Sunday. We'll have a good idea who the 4 teams are.

The only way we won't is if Colorado, Virginia Tech, and Penn State all win. I guess there'd be some debate for the 4th spot between Colorado and Penn State.

That's just the computer composite, which is 1/3 of the BCS. Putting the AP/Coaches' poll into it, the BCS ends up being
1 Alabama
2 tOSU
3 Clemson
4 Washington
5 Michigan
6 Wisconsin

Can't believe people are falling for this Penn St crap.
Honestly, how many teams in the top ten would penn st be favored againstb on a neutral field?
One, maybe.

Care to explain the gap between CU and PSU? How do their résumés compare?

And Alabama has done the same and made the playoffs. Just last year it took a miracle for them to win their division or this little act would have played out in 2015.

This is what I keep telling people, but they want to put undue weight over a single game and then accuse others of devaluing the regular season.
