There is nothing about Finebaum's show that should be on the airwaves in BR. I listened to it for 5 minutes once.

That's what it was on Sirius and I just turned it off when he was on. In his defense, I'm not sure he believe everything he says but he is definitely a shock jock type of guy. Says inflammatory things just to yank people's chains. Definitely a troll on the radio. He does have a face for radio.

It plays late at night, I only would catch a few minutes of it on tge way hone if I worked late. I'm indifferent. I like hearing about other sec teams, but I didn't really care for most of the callers.

It's a garbage show. You'd be better served listening to Jemele Hill or real housewives dubbed over jerry springer who's the daddy episodes.

It's garbage because it's caller driven. I don't think it matters what region of the country you're in, if it's caller driven radio I'm going to hate it.

It's popular in that area because he allows those a platform to just yammer on. Why call them out? He'll just let the reply callers do that. "Paul, how could you let Jake say Alabama is going to beat Auburn this year? Ain't gonna happen! "

Someone from Louisiana called today and told Paul that Miles inherited a great team at Arkansas State and ran them into the ground, then took over another great team at Ok State and ran them into the ground and continues to do the same at LSU. The show is garbage but what else is 104.9 going to play from 8-midnight on weeknights that gets that kind of reaction and talk from the Baton Rouge audience? That's the reason they put it on in the first place. Nothing else will get close to the pub Finebaum gave the station from 8-midnight.

I know Moscona rubs some people the wrong way, but he's probably the best we have locally. Sometimes he goes overboard when arguing with callers, and I wish he'd cut back on Mike Detillier's air time, but he probably has the best guests and overall knowledge of sports outside of LSU football that we have.
