I've never understood why Hanny gets so much praise. By far my least favorite local personality.

Probably because he has usually seemed to be pretty knowledgeable and level-headed. I remember him saying a few years ago that Jamar Chase needed to be on the field for every offensive snap, that he was a star waiting to happen and that he needed specific plays meant to target him (because at the time LSU's passing game still wasn't doing that much and Chase wasn't getting much attention at all). He definitely turned out to be right about that one.

Honestly, I think it happened when TBob and the producer started getting political.

Charles gets praise because he is the voice of the malority of LSU fans. As pointed, charles is level headed and is sensible. He is the opposite of Condon.
Charles is not easily rattled and when he does get emotional , it’s usually because he has valid points. The postgame game calmed me down many a time because Hanny is collected and logical about the players and the staff. He is reasonable with his premises and conclusions. He is fair.

Besides saying “go to youtube” where do I go to get into the chats? Every time I go to watch the live broadcasts on youtube, I scroll down and there is never any comments shown.

All of this. I like Hanny because he is that rare media personality that doesn't have a "shtick" or a gimmick like most of the morons who give fake outrageous takes just to get noticed.
