The guys needs to start over, and never mention "NOLA", playing poker, ole miss, college baseball or WSP. I'll take things no one gives a shite about for $100, Alex

Classic portnoy. Hire a guy simply cause he was yelling at the tv during a college football game, give him no direction or expectations to adhere to, then gripe at the guy for not knowing what he’s supposed to be doing. Dave was 100x better when he was fat with bald spots doing Skype rundowns out of Milton. The more people barstool brings in the worse the quality gets.

yeah, I kind of don't even understand what market he is trying to corner.

I don't pay much attention to Barstool with them off of SiriusXM. But, I understand wanting some SEC style representation -- doesn't Brandon already cover that? Why did they need to bring in an even goofier version?

Cause Dave thinks it’s the worlds best idea to bring in any guy in a viral video screaming about sports. The cokehead sugar daddy needs to look in the mirror and rethink his hiring practices

This is quite funny the guy is worth hundred of millions of dollars based in large part to his hiring decisions and who he has picked to represent this company /brand

He’s worth hundreds of millions because of what barstool used to be. Not what it’s become. Every time they’ve sold and expanded the product has gotten worse. I still love the guy but you can criticize his faults while being a fan of him. Glad he’s rich though. That proves every decision he’s ever made has been perfect according to you.

Funnily enough I went to the Barstool Reddit and those dudes who follow everything barstool does with obsession seem to like Mintzy and all think he and Marty are 100% safe, that Dave just is trying to get a rise out of him because nothing phases him.

Apparently Big Cat is a huge Mintz fan and a champion of his over there, and if Dan likes you, you aren't going anywhere.

You may think that but the size of the checks dispute your arguement

You are like the guy who heard of a band early, and then when they get popular you don’t like them anymore. I am the same way sometimes. But that’s definitely what we are seeing here. Things were always better way back when.

Since this is a barstool thread, I listen to a few of the PMT’s shows a month and can’t understand why PFT is ever allowed take the lead on interviews. He is absolutely horrible at it and just fires off 8th grade jokes for questions. The one with Sig was especially bad

They just need someone to give Mintz some guidance.

Understandable but that lack of creativity & self awareness will never go away.

If college baseball is his thing he needs something attached to it. You can’t just walk by a crowd & hope they chant your name & spray beer everywhere

He’s been there a while & it’s clear he doesn’t have that in him

He's extremely good at posting online, but I agree his in person content leaves something to be desired

I was hopeful that when Bayou Ben came to Barstool that they would try and expand the live line-up on satellite radio (instead of having only 8 hours of live content cycled twice more a day) - he would done well in an hour block and he would have found a niche contributing that way.

The playbook is there with Brandon Walker. Brandon has gotten involved in a lot of things by just being around all the time. Ben needs to put in the hours in the office too.

Walker fits in more because he’s kind of a nut job himself. It also helps he’s a degenerate gambler and willing punching bag on the yak.

I feel like they need reps at every SEC school. I think Mintz has done well.
