Notre Dame playing a smart, fundamentally sound game so far, but they're so undersized down low. I love Connaughton's effort and he's a good player but they should be just pounding ND in the paint.

Kentucky's standing around an awful lot on offense. If they had more movement away from the ball, Notre Dame would be in real trouble.

I'm gonna be pretty annoyed if Kentucky loses. What are they doing? The answer is nothing. Just standing around and letting their bigs destroy. They aren't playing basketball.

this is why i don't think Cal is a great coach. he's the best recruiter i've ever seen but meh as a coach
ND, has basically negated UK's size by running their entire offnese above the 3 point line, then using their speed to get back door cuts on UK, which is what beline does anyway but it's f'n brilliant. space them out and run past them basically
If cal went to a 3-2 zone they would win this game by 10+. this man to man zone with 7 footers playing 25 feet from the basket is exactly what ND wants

They're horrible. What do they create? Where do they put pressure on a defense? How do they involve the bigs? They're horrible. There's a PG on every single team in the country that could out perform them. They have ZERO feel for basketball. Doesn't seem like they have much heart(frick I hate that saying).
