Been to tons of stadiums throughout the ACC and the SEC. Virginia Tech's is up there with anyone's.
It's even crazier when it's late in the season and cold. Daylight savings is in and the place is dark, everyone typically wears that dark maroon. The Metallica comes on, and that's a fvcking intimidating place to be.

I don't really "get" the VT entrance (I'm also not a Metallica fan), BUT....there's no denying how hype that stadium gets. And that's all that matters at the end of the day in creating that atmosphere.

ESPN did a great job capturing the hype in that stadium. That was impressive. Gives you a great idea of the atmosphere tOSU is walking into. Also gave you the Buckeye perspective which helped contrast things a bit. Good production work there.

As stated, I expect the Buckeyes to grind us down, but finally get to watch the Hokies play...
