Unintentional but that’s one of those tennis rules man.

Did you think this would not be mentioned in the U.S. Open thread?

Pretty big news, and not everyone is following that thread.

I'm glad he did. IDRGAF about tennis but this is interesting.

Oh please it's a tennis ball that he lobbed toward her to presumably catch and stash away,
She acted like it was a baseball heater; most tennis players punt a ball back to the line judges.
They don't have a backup line judge to continue?

Ehhhh, not really.
I get the rule though, and he has to be smarter than that. But people are acting like he hit it hard or something, and that’s far from what he did.

That was not. That was a ball hit in semi-disappointment at what is usually an empty back line, that pegged the line judge right in the kisser. It’s like going to nail your best friend with a dodgeball, but he ducks and you nail the hot chick behind him.

Firing a ball for Djoker is 135mph, that was a lob.

I’m not jumping into that long arse thread. It’s ok to make new threads about specific events.

Actually, the rules allow for tennis players now to get away with a lot more than they did say in the 70's & 80's if we're pussies now, what was Gen X?

McEnroe and Connors were known for their tempers.

Yeah and docked points and games for that. Not the case now if someone loses their temper. Chair umpires are way more lenient before even giving just a warning.

She’s got a future in the NBA.
Quite a flop.
Quite a flop.
