Yeah, this is me. I've never been one to sell on a bad day or try to time the market to buy on a going up day. I probably lose/leave money on the table, but I sleep better at night averaging over time.

Still defending my position with facts. I’m not afraid to be wrong, but if this thing turns around like it did all last week... You gonna still be here with gotcha posts?

I guess my ultimate question is, what is your recommendation and your prediction?

Do I think the stocks will have another bad day or bad week due to COVID-19? Sure, I think that is very possible and maybe for multiple days/weeks but will likely have some ups and downs.

Do I think our entire lives will be disrupted? No.

Do I think we drop to below pre-2016 election levels in the market? No, I don't think so but sure I could be wrong.

Do I think we are at this current level (DJIA, S&P, etc.) now or greater by the end of 2020 (assuming Trump 2020 victory)? Yes.

It is easy to say well X amount of people were diagnosed today or there were Y more deaths today. What are you actually trying to say? What is your recommendation? What do you think the ultimate outcome will be? Are you trying to time the stock market? That usually hurts more than it helps.

I don’t have a recommendation or prediction. I’m just a dude posting what I find on an Internet forum.

It is my OPINION from I can find on current r-naught, perceived mortality rate, and other things like how China had an epic economic slow (still in progress), etc.. That the virus would have an impact on our day to day life across the globe. Maybe I’m over estimating the virus, but I’m just following the seriousness that all these countries have taken. So, with that info I wanted out of the market. I’m absolutely trying to time the market, I have acknowledged how much of a gamble it is. I’m of the opinion that the virus is worse than most people have thought.

I need to start averaging into the market. I posted I wanted to get in some this week, but I’m ultimately waiting on good news for the virus. We haven’t got that, so I’m still cautious about the economic impact it could have.

I have my watchlist open on a tab all day. But for some reason I wasn't paying attention closely. Then an article pops up that "DOW breaks record for single day point gain" so I look up and go Holy shite!

Repeat this to yourself 10 times when you feel a little overwhelmed by the sheer hopelessness that is the Wuhan Virus Ending international trade supply.

Bought Nem last week after selling it at 49.50 which I paid 34.60. My buy back in was 44.77 avg and sold it at 48.07 this morning. Quick 1k+.

I'm sure it will go higher, But I will wait for the next buy in for a day trade.
