This is the only number released and the reason is, you need it to calculate the COLA for SS payments next year.

Yeah, I don’t get it. I have to wonder if the plan is to lower rates once or twice to boost the job market, then raise a few bps to push back inflation. The problem will be next year when the fed will be stacked with guys told to lower rates regardless of inflation. That won’t be pretty IMO.

No but when inflation was over 3% to start the year then 2.3 is plummeting

So the change in the rate of inflation since then has INCREASED by 46% and you claim inflation is "plummeting"?
