Don’t care about the disagreement. I’ve only read the bill basically benefits the rich. Idk if true or lie. Just think we care more about the back and forth and the divide. Supporters will blindly support their side.

I want to see bills approved that help everyday people and I’m not talking about people who can physically work and chose not to, or people who are already rich.

This rift will have an immediate effect on All tech. I know others benefit from Elon’s stumble, but he opened doors for the tech geeks. DC may be gun-shy now. Time will tell. It has to come back in some form, hopefully beneficially for the citizenry.

Buckeye has tds.

Elon started talking about the bill may 22nd.

Trump gives him the key to the White House and thanks Elon.

Elon melts down to the point of retweeting to impeach Trump and insinuating he’s a pedophile.

Elon just burnt this bridge. And removing the president wouldn’t bring certainty.

So there is that that these idiots completely miss.

Do you pay income taxes?

If so, the bill benefits you.

It's a frustrating site to observe. I like Trump, but it certainly seems as if you disagree with him, he doesn't have a "agree to disagree" mentality and you can still move on amicably. At least on some things.

And I personally side with Elon on this bill. He was asked to be part of the administration's team, find the waste in the government, found a lot of waste in the government and then not a lot of movement. Even if we paid Elon hundreds of millions (I don't think that's the case), and he found billions of waste, it's money well spent. . . only if we did something about the waste. My $.02 is that is the real failure here. It even seemed like Elon was alright with killing EV mandates along with a lot of other cuts, but the other cuts he wanted were kept in the bill and EV mandates were killed. I'm guessing that is where Elon took exception.

I don’t think going deeper into debt benefits any taxpayer.

He should've never been involved in government anyway. An unelected man, who just happens to be the richest in the world who gets tens of billions annually from US government contracts, had ZERO business being allowed to fire people and kill contracts.

Why the hell should we care what South African immigrant Elon Musk thinks about our bureaucracy, much less be given access to run roughshod?
___________

And yet we have a president that allowed him to be front and center in government decisions. Doesn't speak well for Trump's decision making.

You are sounding like you were just hurt by a jilted lover.

While funny watching this shite show live, Elon isn’t really putting forth anything new there. Hell, dems tried to implicate Trump in the Epstein stuff during the 2020 election because he was on flight logs on Epstein’s plane. His name was even in the data released back in February.
_________

Never been any doubt. It fits his MO for the past 50 years.
