Silver is a 1.422T market, small on a macro scale but
What if enough degens rolled their GME gains and requested physical delivery, it would break the Comex...price would sky rocket

Seems pretty legit. Price has been fairly stable for a while so it'd be worth getting in now before reddit gets a hold of it.

Honestly never fooled with commodities but how would one buy in? Looks like ticker AG would be a play.

The purest way would be a futures broker, trade the future or options on the future. You could even take delivery if you have a broker that allows.

2nd would be options on SLV or pure play on SLV. Silver ETF

I like PSLV trust but theres no options on it

Well FK, I was about a half inch of a finger move away from liquidating my long SLV position to buy GME. Now what do I do?

Post specifically named the ticker $AG. I didn’t see SLV mentioned.

ETA: SLV is specifically mentioned. Reading comments, both tickers come up. I don’t think a real squeeze can be AS successful unless they choose one, eh?

It's one thing to frick with stocks and equities....another to frick with commodities that do reflect real goods.

shitI bought slv then sold it right away for like a $2 loss but when I tried to get Ag, it said the original trade hadn't executed yet, so I cannot get Ag

I went long futures but if I did not have access SLV would be ok to get exposure.

They have to cover with futures in SLV which then has to be covered with metal or commitments for metal.

AG is a miner, I like exposure to underlying but the miner is probably a good buy too. I have not vetted that company.

This was already done in the 70s by Herbert Hunt and his brothers. They bought and stored up a crapload of silver, inflating the price from 11/oz to 50/oz worldwide. The CFTC stepped in a charged em, bankrupting them and Hunt Oil.
