Right now, I am on Spirit Airline. Sounds dumb right? Stock is cheap as hell. They will get bought out. They filed for bankruptcy awhile back and when they merge those stock prices will go up a good bit.

Sounds like a pump and dump scam.

They had solid profitability in their home and utility energy service divisions as well.

Tesla is up 18.5% as of right now. I don’t think that holds but Musk has a lot of momentum with it.

Can you imagine his driverless taxi. That would be huge.

Doubtful. The car business has been doing well and their other business units have good profitability and with the domestic content guidance out now they're well positioned to capture more market share and value for grid and homes energy services.

TSLA was at almost a thousand when covid started. They crashed down to just under 400, then soared to 2500. They split 5 ways to 500 and that went to almost 1000 - all within 1 year and all before Musk bought Twitter.

I don' think they split again, so that 1000 is now the price you see today, due in large part to wealthy investors dumping their stock out of disdain for Musk.

The same thing happened to Netflix after the 'Cuties' scandal. They went from 700 to 200 overnight. Now, they're soaring past 700 again.

I think not only will TSLA hold. It will keep climbing.

This can't be. EVs are just a fad and won't be feasible in our lifetimes or our kids lifetimes I was told.

Even though margins surprisingly improved last quarter, Tesla stock wouldn't be where it is without the promise of robot butlers and robotaxis. To a good extent it's become a bet on Elon's vision of the future, not on being a car company.

Patiently waiting on Business Insider to report how much more money Musk is worth with the bump like when they report on how much less he is worth after a dip.

I can guarantee that it won't keep rising like this. Very soon, the bottom will fall out, and everyone that bought stock at these elevated prices will lose the shirt off their backs. This happens everytime, and the people promoting this are part of the scam. I've watched this happen over and over and over again.

Again, pump and dump scam.

Like anything there are different approaches. If one bought some time ago and held they likely will hold now too. The big money players will do all that other stuff.

I recall when markets went down big in 08/09 and I increased all my holdings. Everyones situation is different and should seek financial advice.

To the other poster talking electric cars. I don’t have one and never will. But if I were ro, it would be a tesla. They specialize in it and are best at it. They didn’t get in this business due to some Gov mandate - Elon wanted to help the environment but not in a forced way. He is not trying to kill gas cars, he is offering something there is a market for. The other makers all did it due to Gov mandates and are not specializing in it.

Right now its up 20.74% for the day.
