Thanks, you all have been helpful.

During my meeting with the account manager today, he only recommended reducing my bond investments to 0 and reallocating that (17%) as evenly as possible into American Fund Growth Fund of America R4, Vanguard Windsor, and Vanguard Total Stock Market Index.

I didn't make the changes because I wanted to hear the MT guru's opinions.

I think I'm going to go

34% VSTAX
33% American Funds Europacific Growth R4
33% American Funds New World R4

and see how that goes for a little while.

Thanks again everyone for all the help.

Dude, tha a lot of international equity. Maybe something like 70% VSTAX, 20% Euro, 10% New World, at best.

Do like 80/85% VTSAX and split the 15/20% between the international funds.

Don't put 66% of your portfolio into international funds lol.

Not trying to sound rude, but why do you need a financial consultant for only $30,000? Just seems like a waste of money. As others have said, pick 2-4 funds and roll with it.

Way too much international exposure and check the expenses ratios on the Vanguard fund vs the American funds. Personally I would put everything in Vanguard funds if that is an option (vs American funds). I would keep international funds less than 30% of your portfolio.

It is likely the lowest cost fund.

In the long run, costs are a drag on total return.

It would be reasonable to have 100% of your money in that fund.

If you did, you missed some big gains. Sleepy Joe had the hottest stock market in our lifetimes in his first 100 days.

Take that $30k and learn how to trade commodities futures using leverage. Also be sure and close your contracts each month or you'll wind up with a semi-trailer full of corn (or wheat, or copper etc..) parked in your driveway.

I'm joking. I agree with others that you have too many funds. If you're young I'd find a small or mid-cap fund or two that overperforms the market over a 7-10 year stretch. Those funds will have a higher beta, hence the longer timeline.

Are you expecting a large inheritance or do you have money elsewhere? If no, I would start aggressively saving via a side hustle or two.

This many posts and you still haven’t given us your age. Diversification depends on age. If your in your 20’s, VTSAX all the way. If you’re over 40, you’re in trouble with only 30K.
