Well I was down 3000 some odd earlier but at this second I’m only down 1200, somehow I’m making myself believe that’s a win.

I was down about 40% of my gains for the year at 8:45. I was buying into this blood bath, though. At least I had gains this time. In June of last year it was -40% of my cost basis, which was really tough to stomach.

Went from down 12k to down 6k. And being down only 6k now feels like a win for some reason

Almost 99% of their “questions” are just posturing for whatever dumb bullshite bill they’re trying to push through. If you listened to that meeting for even 15 minutes it’s pretty easy to tell how dumb most of these senators actually are.
They ask him all these bullshite politically driven fiscal policy questions, knowing damn well he has nothing to do with that. It’s all a big joke bro

XOM, RDS, and ET have softened the blow to my portfolio value to a reasonable 2-2.5% decline.

Down over 20k, but that because of Standard Lithium taking a big drop today so I'm not worried at that one. Everything else is down.
Took some profit from RCL and turned a couple of Apple calls bought this morning for a few hundred. Probably should have held them, but a bird in the hand and all that.
Nice day for buying.

Went shopping today with all the sales going on. Increased my position in 5 ARK etfs, JETS etf, QCLN (clean energy etf) and bought some more total market fund mutual fund. My equivalent of my wife going shopping on Amazon. I came out just a tad green overall for the day.
