I'm a big consumer--and fan--of MSFT's O365, Dynamics365 (PowerApps), and Azure cloud services. On the Azure-side, they're rock solid and growing revenues like crazy, with relatively low capital expenditures. FTR, we also have a big footprint in AWS and it's going to stay a powerhouse, but I MSFT is doing some good things to try and catch up.
MSFT and AMZN are easily my two biggest holdings.

Stop loss in WKHS hit at $15 for my initial investment + $1,000. Will let the remaining 200 shares ride.

Anyone thinking that 15 is a good entry?

Last week someone mentioned AYRO, so I did quick research and bought 100 at 3.50. Added 50 more yesterday at $5.60. It pulled back after they announced another offering, but rebounding nicely today. So
to whomever had that tip. I may hold this one for a bit.

Glad ya got some profit. I posted about it and didnt buy any debating if i should leave money in workhorse or roll it over. Rolled it over monday morning early for about 5.30 a share. Going to ride it out for a couple weeks.

$15-16 not bad. This company/stock is gonna ride or die on that usps contract.
I just wish I knew a definitive date of when that will be awarded.
It'll probably hover in the mid to upper teens for the foreseeable future

Walmart made some news today.
going “head to head” with Amazon according to some with their enhanced e commerce package.
Walmart is also a major seller of the dominant smart TV streaming platform that just so happens to provide much of the Amazon prime content for many people. They certainly can afford to maybe buy out that streaming platform if they wanted to...

Do we know who their competition is for the contract? Thanks for the advice man.

Mahindra (India) - hybrid
Karsan (turkey) and Morgan Olson (US and current USPS supplier) - combustion or hybrid
Ford/OshKosh (US) - combustion
Workhorse is the only all EV play and it’s from the US...which makes optimists (pumpers) think they’re at least getting some of the pie. Especially in an election year and being based in OH.

who/what are their current customers and how many units are on the road?

Why do you have to ruin all the fun?
They collaborated with UPS to design, build, and test their trucks and UPS has the first order of 1k trucks. They received federal motor safety approval last month, so now they can ramp up production with a target to deliver vehicles to UPS in early 2021. They recently secured $70m in financing—to scale up production—via a convertible note at $19/share.
It’s a purely speculative play riding the EV wave/bubble and the potential for huge, game-changing contract in the next couple months.

TheChosenOne answered it. This is purely a speculative play based on if they get a piece of that pie.
I'm banking on them getting atleast part of the contract because they're American made and all electric (not hybrid or combustion like the others).
And everything I've read, it seems to be leaning towards they're getting something. Not guaranteeing that by any means (im no insider), but my fingers are definitely crossed.

you guys want a pure spec play?
BABA will do a 8 for 1 split in the next couple of weeks
when that happens, the retail (ie robinhood) demand should skyrocket. So the play is buy now in the mid 200s, wait for the split, then sell into the robinhood feeding frenzy

Doesn't robinhood offer fractional shares now?
Posted on 7/8/20 at 6:39 am to castorinho
they do
I’m saying it’s likely retail demand for BABA increases when people see it trading in the 30’s as opposed to 200’s
purely speculation based on inexperienced traders not knowing any better. Risky but it’s a growth stock at highs so not too bad
