you could have bought it at 65 on Monday
did you think it was never going to see 70 again?
you cannot win this game without a plan
not really directed at you but just in general...decide what you want to own then have a strategy to make your entry

I didn’t even know what pins was honestly. Didn’t realize it was Pinterest, I haven’t followed how they have become so profitable.

how long can ROKU keep up this madness? I got in at 330 just because I was bored and holy shite

Looking at a couple of these Crypto mining companies this am. MARA and CLSK. I feel like they may be safer than trying to pick individual coins. That said, everything follows Bitcoin anyway, so there's that.

ROKU officially acquired quibi. This feels like a powerhouse stock that can potentially rocket even more.

I love Roku but I don't think acquiring Quibi is a big deal.

Is anything looking like a good buy today for a short term hold? I have some cash but I am hesitant to buy anything right now.

BNGO is at a bargain price right now IMO. Next week's symposium could make this thing sky rocket. And if they get FDA approval then even more so. It's already jumped into the $7 plus range and could very well go as high as $10 soon. The long-term potential is pretty high for this one.

I would have loved buying DKNG 2 days ago but I still think it has a large move ahead of it in the next couple weeks. One of the few stocks that hasn't really moved over the last couple months.
FUBO is another that I think is complete garbage but it has so much momentum behind it I could easily see it running back up to $60 where it was last week.
PLTR will get to $40.

What is the case for FUBO being garbage?
Posted on 1/8/21 at 9:13 am to hiltacular
Yeah, I will skip on FUBO (never understood why it exploded in the first place) but good thoughts on the other two.

What made Fubo jump to 60+ and then fall so hard all in DEC?

The only way it ever becomes profitable is if it gets into sports gambling. It is in a highly competitive space where the margins are brutal and the costs for streaming rights are astronomical.
The CEO has said that it is going to be a MVPD with exclusive sports content/rights and also operate as a sportsbook. That is fine to say that but IMO the stock should not be trading at any significant level based on what the company "wants to be".
I just think all of streaming is headed towards free to stream type services (Twitch) and as much as people think FUBO is revolutionary it is actually going in the complete opposite direction.
ETA I hate the company but I cannot argue its current price point and the momentum I see on FinTwit and the backing it has with certain analysts that people blindly follow.

Appreciate the insight. The combination of sports streaming and real time betting in one platform sounds intriguing but implementation is everything and it sounds like it is just an idea at this point.
I'd guess the Dec price anomaly was the result of massive short positions being closed out before year end.
