Sold @ $120. Bought back in yesterday @ $90. Should have waited this out.

True. It’s already destroyed support. There’s a bottom (of course), but the money flow is Aunt Esther ugly. The overall market, especially Nasdaq, being weak just adds to the pain.

I screwed myself with this one. I sold that day a couple weeks back when it went up 7%. Just a quick swing trade. Missed the next pop. Then started buying after dips and yeah it definitely feels like a knife and not prudent DCA.

Fortunately it's small dollar amount and % of account but down 25% since buying back in.

Im guessing this isnt good for FSLY from the OT of all places.

quote:

The Chinese parent company of TikTok is reportedly putting an end to efforts to spin off its U.S. business with Oracle and Walmart as minority owners. According to the South China Morning Post, TikTok parent ByteDance is no longer interested in creating a separate U.S. operation which would be partially owned by a consortium including Oracle and Walmart. This follows reports that the Biden administration is pausing an effort to force TikTok to sell its U.S. business. Citing concerns over possible ByteDance connections to the Chinese Communist Party, the Trump administration had been actively attempting to ban TikTok from operating in the U.S. unless it established a separate business with at least partial U.S. ownership. In September 2020, Oracle and Walmart received tentative U.S. approval for a joint 20% acquisition of a new business that would be called TikTok Global. However, with the change in presidential administrations, ByteDance has reportedly lost interest in the Trump-sanctioned Oracle/Walmart deal, and is now seeking to develop an alternative structure to its U.S. operations. The nixed deal would have seen Walmart enter into commercial agreements to provide e-commerce, fulfillment, payments, measurement-as-a-service advertising, and other omnichannel services to TikTok Global.

fricked up and closed my position working in my cellphone today. I was closing in my little short term cash and pulled the trigger on my long account with quite a bit in it.

Tried buying back but that account isn't a margin like my cash and funds have to settle.

Lol. Watch it go up ten bucks before I can get back in.

Anyone able to take advantage of it's brief time at around $68?

I've been sick and slept in and missed out on my re-entry.

I spent my spare cash on other big dips, but glad to see a green day. I was a late buyer (~$65) but still in the green overall with no plans to sell soon.
