States may hold onto tax refunds for months

That's just splendid...will the people in these states be able to charge the states interest?

Already got my refund in about a week when I filed in extremely early February.

Is this an attempt to use those funds for curent fiscal year and then do the same thing next year to replace those funds? I see this as being one of those things that will be hard to ween off of.

Great reason to adjust withholdings so that a person doesn't GET a refund ... don't give them more of your money than you have to to begin with!
