PSAC warrants - what is the catch? Why are they trading so far below intrinsic value?
I understand the $18 threshold but they are way below that. Am I missing something?

Where’s the SPAC discord link?

PSAC warrants
I sold out on the DA. No longer following but it does seem low. I assume warrants are 1:1. Any different warrant cap cashless redemption terms? Even at the usual .361 it is still low.

Where you looking these days Regit. I know you have your arsenal of NAV plays (brilliant if you have the capital).
What are your spec's if any (if you want to share).
I am still jabbing in and out - GIK I expect a pop and PSAC warrants still seem off to me.

I’m looking at btaq warrants right now. Open to any spacs warrant plays if anyone has some

I am mainly trying to flip warrants after 10-15%.
Getting the new announced targets in the mid to high 2's and then sell on movement. *shrug* boring but have done well.
Not LSURegit well LOL but well

I recommend checking out HOL. It's merging with Astra.
Shares of blank-check company Holicity (NASDAQ:HOL) took off this morning after striking a deal with startup Astra to merge and come public at a $2.1 billion valuation. HOL stock was up more than 40% in pre-market trading.

California-based Astra is a startup that makes small rockets to send satellites into orbit. “This transaction takes us a step closer to our mission of improving life on Earth from space by fully funding our plan to provide daily access to low Earth orbit from anywhere on the planet,” said Chris Kemp, founder, chairman and CEO of Astra, in an SEC filing.

NAV account has been performing awesomely! This outlines that strategy perfectly for those interested. Spacdaddy
Recent example, had no idea I was holding HOL,ALUS,VCVC,FTOC,ZNTE etc. all at NAV until checking after some random news came out.
eta: Lil risky off the path but I've been accumulating PTK under $.9 and CCAC under 1.75 when I get the chance. People turning their nose at Chinese spacs but I think there are Asian unicorn companies to be had.

I’ve been buying BTWN and the related BTNB. They are both associated with Peter Thiel so I figure there’s a good chance they turn to gold. He’s the reason I bought Palantir at $9 when it went public.

Thanks for link - are you focusing on units or the close to nag commons.
I suspect with patience and bankroll the units would be the way.... just have to sit a little longer

Wish i understood the units piece but I don’t. Is that the part before the warrants? Do you have to call fidelity for example everytime to deal with units during the transition?

Yes - when a SPAC IPOs - it will be a unit - which consists of a share and a fraction of a warrant. Depending on Spac.
After 45-52 days you are allowed to split. Some services charge - so if yours does - you want sufficient quantity to make it worthwhile.
Advantage is upon IPO you can usually get in real close to NAV - thus the warrant piece is lagniappe.
Disadvantage - can be a long hold from IPO to target announced etc....
So bankroll and patience seems to be a handsome combination for this strategy.
I have been watching but am going to more seriously play this way

Thoughts on STPK? A merger is supposedly coming.

Just saw this line on another SPAC discord when someone talked about holding on through merger.
"We ain’t taking these SPAC’s home to our mothers. We’re banging them out in the back alleys and moving on to the next one"

I’m trying to learn more on the unit process as well. If I buy units after the 45-52 days, do they still serve the same purpose and convertible to stock and warrant? Looking into CND and whether units or warrants is the way I should go.

LSU Regit,
On your NAV account - noting your reference to SPAC Daddy, are you mainly buying the units he notes or the common.
I can see common turning quicker as they are more seasoned, but units may have a touch more value?

Units closer to $10 is definitely better than commons. The warrants that comes after the split is just gravy. Also, more Robinhood buyers come in after split b/c units are not available to them.
I always split Units. Most have arbitrage b/c warrants are high on speculation while commons stay near NAV. Gives you more flexibility to regards if you want to sell or hold either one.
- If I miss the Unit, I have no problem buying commons closer to NAV if I want in.
