Marketwatch is showing 8.25 also though

Would both reporting platforms be wrong …I guess it’s possible

This has to be a glitch, but I guess we’ll see tomorrow.

OTCMarkets says 7.34.

How does this have post market movement if it’s not available to trade after hours? Or is that just a Schwab thing that doesn’t allow it

Seeking Alpha shows $7.34 close at 4:00 EST, but shows after hours price of $8.25 at 4:11 EST.

I wonder if there were some large orders that were processed manually, due to the issues they were having?

Trading closed 4:30 EDT. No more EST.

So something is wrong.

An $8.25 open tomorrow would be so f’n sweet. Start the day with a big bagel full of money.

Plus - wouldn’t the AH price fluctuate? Seems like some were reporting an AH price of $8.25 that never moved at all for several hours, and was conveniently the same number as the open.

I’m going with glitch.

3 separate platforms reporting the same glitch ?

Marketwatch
Chuck
SeekingAlpha

All say 8.25

Man I hope they are right

Doesn’t matter. We’ll blow by that before long anyway.

Saw this post on X and just sharing

Have no idea if this would actually happen to the shorters

They stole that from Reddit. It may have been the reason for yesterday’s run up. No clue.

I guess the crux is this:

If it is 7.34, it will rocket.
If it is 8.25, it wil............

ROCKET anyway.

I THINK, and I stress that I THINK, that means there would be a price spike on the 16th as the clearing broker must buy shares on the open market equivalent to the naked shorts that are out. Those naked shorts are not permitted to be carried for 13 days without being settled, according to that FINRA rule, but I’m not positive.

I don’t understand how the naked short and fail to deliver trope has been applied to every stock that drops since the fall of GameStop.

People are still screaming “two weeks to cover” for AMC and the shares are like a $1 and who knows how many billions they’ve issued since 2021.

Yeah, it’s unlikely we see action similar to what happened to GameStop. Fun to think about though!

That was a ride.

Trouble is when to jump in or off. Never been my strong suit
