Space X IPO question

Will the tech stock slump cause the Space X IPO to take a dive? People might not need to get in on the IPO and pick it up for a discount later that week.

The massive overvaluation of Space X is probably causing a lot of concern in the market.
As all these AI companies open up their books to cash out for IPO, it shows revenues are small compared to spending. They are trying to pivot to making money.

Massive is an understatement

I think it'll pump-n-dump over the first day or two then start a long, steady climb after that. The key to how long that climb sustains is the continued not-blowing-up of the rockets, one unexpected explosion and the stock tanks like Boeing's when the door blew off.

IPOs are for suckers. There are plenty of them out there, don’t be one

Extreme valuations, yes. Revenues “small,” incorrect.

To fund an allocation to SpaceX investors have to have capital. That capital is coming from their winners. I’m not a fan of investing at the IPO but this selloff is expected because most are fully invested and need cash to buy the new shiny object.

It's going to take a dive, but that has nothing to do with the current tech dip.

I put in for shares with Fidelity at the IPO price. Probably won’t get all I asked for. Will know tomorrow.
Options start 3-5 days after Friday.

This sentiment has been making the rounds, but I’m gonna need some one to show their work on the calculation.
S&P 500 cumulative value is $65trillion and SpaceX is looking for $75billion, that’s a drop in the bucket.
I’d be more inclined to believe concerns about a crypto meltdown for the upcoming IPOs.

You definitely won’t get what you put in for. Morgan Stanley HNW with good syndicate scores get priority over all retail.

Yeah you go ahead and pick it up on the first day. I'm sure it will be on sale .

Yeah. I’m fricked.

Great response and completely correct. But those initially selling cause others to see the downtick and the momentum changes. Causing increased selling. But you are 100% that a $75bln IPO by itself doesn’t drop the entire market. But then add in Anthropic, OpenAI etc…

I’ll be putting in orders for those as well.

I requested 200 shares at Fidelity. Excited to see how many I am allocated.

When are allocations known?
Posted on 6/11/26 at 4:23 pm to TJG210
Fidelity told me an hour ago that the pricing will be done by 6-7 Eastern and if you had shown interest and requested shared you should get an email this evening by around 11pm Eastern. Maybe earlier.
You MUST confirm in the email your desire to purchase what is allocated to you in the email. You can purchase less than that amount but not more than the allocation.

Isn't the smart move with Space X, or others, is to let the stock do its IPO thing, then jump in on it next week?
