I'm still holding 450 shares, but I don't see how anyone buys gamestop at 70

I’m not rich but I’ve made enough money in the past 2 weeks to do so much. I tapped out most of my GME now after the second breaker. I’ll likely buy some more calls next week to see if the market will actually allow it to squeeze farther

Daaaang. Talk about making a major score in one day!

You may not remember me, but I was at our last family reunion. I was the one who commented on what a handsome and generous fellow you were. Remember?

Sincerely,

Your 4th cousin, thrice removed.

Get on while you can.

Aside from that one pop, have any of the shorts even started to cover?

This is the beginning, not the end.

Depends on short interest numbers, but as far as I can tell there’s no short shares available

Yeah this is the beginning. More good things to come. $420.69 and beyond!

Cgrand, you seem very chart savvy and seem to understand trading fundamentals well. With all of the short interest in GME and the different catalysts involved over the last few months, I'm surprised you weren't leading the charge on this early on (And I don't want to seem like that's indicting you because you've been a beast on this board and I'm grateful that you're so active). Just curious what your position was from the beginning. Just too risky?

I’m not above the fray here at all, enjoying watching it unfold but I have no interest in owning GME as a company and once this is over its gonna fall right back to where it should be based on their finances

I have a high disdain for short sellers in general so I’m happy they are getting squeezed. All I’m advising is don’t get caught holding shares you wouldn’t want to own otherwise

this turned into a wsb meme stock

upperdeckers initial call was good but it turned into a great one because of the autistics on reddit

I too am enjoying watching this unfold.

So, what’s the play now? Throw some money you don’t mind losing at 1/29 80c mid-late next week and hope for another squeeze?

Why not do like 120 1 month out and if it goes to 80 next week you’d be in the money right? Sell off principal and ride?

I’ll say this. I was saving up to pay off 1 of my 3 student loans on 2/1 when the interest was supposed to start back up. It's my lowest loan balance, but my highest interest rate loan. When the no payments / no interest got extended until october I decided to take the lump sum and invest it instead of letting it sit in cash. I put some of that into GME a few days ago.

My GME position is now high enough to take out all 3 of my remaining student loans instead of just part of 1.

Gonna out myself as a noob asking, but why not sell and pay off the loans with the chance you could end up with your dick in your hand come Monday? I mean it's gotta crash as hard or harder than it took off right? To time that right seems like quite the tall order.

In the end I can afford to lose it. That wouldn't be ideal but I'm not risking anything that would affect my day to day life.

Mostly joking, but this GME is in uncharted waters. Look at Volvo and the 2008 squeeze and how it jumped 5x in price, from 200 to 1000. This is going to be way worse for the shorters of GME. This has nothing to do with fundamentals or p/e. It all has to do with the amount of shares shorted and the amount of shares that is in actual supply. More shares are shorted than what is in supply and the squeeze is just getting started. Until the short float gets back down, its going to keep going up.

I don't think he understands it honestly. That is fine, because if one did, they would see this isn't some hype job. This is going to print and has been printing. People in denial will just miss the rocketship, but that is fine with me.

This wasn't the squeeze. It was just the pre-cum. The big load is still ready to bust out.
