Yesterday would have been a good day to sell...

I’ll keep buying. It’s the biggest, most diversified, and the most profitable.
The whole sector is struggling because of politics and the fact anything that isn’t tech is not sexy.
But, healthcare is like the Highlander and every time one dies, another takes its strength.
The system is too big to fail, and the rest of the field isn’t big enough to compete. Centene, Humana, Molina, CVS, etc have greater exposure to their core business and are less diversified.

Sometimes life comes at you fast. One minute you take your 5x returns on PLTR to buy UNH. Two months later you chase the average down to $350 and realize it’s now 20% of your portfolio.

I am holding tight. I haven't sold any of mine. I am tempted to buy at this price.

Yep, no need to rush into a sell decision right now. Steady as she goes.

bought UNH today as well. Also picked up a few shares of CI and ELV. I had already owned Shares of CI.

Rolled my soxl calls into unh 500C for Jan 2027. I'll cut half at 450 and the rest after it's itm. These dips are a blessing. Just buy time and let the market do what it does.

How much are you down? Sell, take the proceeds and purchase ASTS. Thank me later in 2030 when it multiplies 10-fold.

One of my largest Holdings. Hoping to be laughing at how low this got in a few years collecting a huge dividend from the stock .

Still dropping pre-market this morning

Earnings released this morning. Medical loss ratios continue to surge. Medical ratios are up to 89.4% vs 85.1% last year. Earning guidance was also disappointing. OptumHealth margins have gotten crushed and the CMS-HCC V28 impact weighs on all payers. Brightest spot for them in the news was OptumRx but also PBMs are coming under significant scrutiny as they are increasing costs to consumers.
I still own some in my portfolio but it is a small amount. They are the most “stable” of the insurers but the acquisitions over the last decade have started to dry up.
