I want to use a NASDAQ ETF investment vehicle. Pros and cons of this product?

With QQQ or TQQQ the only question right now is where and when your entry will be.

With this past Friday as the outlier, there are certain days that would give you better entries. I would suggest Friday’s, but we may be past that now? Not sure. With some states Covid 2nd spike numbers seeming to go down, you may just wait for a down market day this week to enter. But that’s just my opinion. You do you at the end of the day. We are all idiots here anyway.

QQQ tracks the performance of the NASDAQ 100.
you can find a list of the NASDAQ 100 on any investment site

the pros/cons are the same as any index vehicle except the QQQ is tech heavy, so not diversified. Use it to gain direct exposure to tech stocks

I'm heavily weighted in this fund and love it.* I got in at $31 and it's at @267.

My background is technology and am betting on it being the future.

*I was not heavily weighted at first. I had split equally between three indexes and this one soared way beyond the others over time.

I’ve been looking at FTEC as a lower entry price fund that also tracks tech stocks. Any opinions? It is a new fund compared to qqq

I've thought about shifting some of my "Total Market" funds over too. But have left them where they are for "diversification."

ARKK might be worth a look if you are in the mood for some risk and accompanying volatility. Major holdings are TSLA, ROKU, NVTA, SQ etc. it’s an actively managed ETF
