Not planning any changes for long term retirement, but in regards to that "play money in the stock market account", what the MB thinking for the next two weeks?

My prediction is new all time highs....just went long the sp500...if it breaks the current daily spy low then that is my sell stop. Low risk trade.
It can break it by a point or 2 but no more...hit the pivot i was watching.

I'd wager to say that all election influence is priced in already

You can sell volatilty, that's about the only thing you can do to fade the narrative. Maybe buy some lottos on the FAAG stocks or the indices.

I hope so because if it hit's my sell stop then I have no clue what happens next. Also.....I am aware that predictions can show us how clueless we can be sometimes but that is mine and I will know quickly if I am wrong.

The only thing not priced in is if something unexpected happens with the election outside of Trump or Biden winning and a normal post election process. If a recount occurs, market impact. If somehow the election results go to a court ruling, huge market impact

I think people fall in love with their large balances.
I am going to sell most of my high growth stocks for profit and buy back in when the price and future look good/more stable.
I absolutely expect all of them to fall a little. It's not just the election either for me. It's the earnings reports all coming out about the same time. Odds are that many high growth stocks won't come back as good as people think like Fastly. I am just playing it safe as my hooks aren't too deep, and I am relatively new so I'd like to see how the market responds to huge events like this. I have been waiting for a good opportunity to change investment applications (to TD Ameritrade), as mine sucks, and this is it for me.

That's impossible without knowing who the winner will be.

Stopped out...I was obviously clueless on this one. They put up a fight but no go.

Trump just sent the stock market in a tailspin. I wish he would just keep things to himself sometimes.

He said Pelosi doesn't want a stimulus before the election.

New president will do wonders for the market. If you think otherwise sell.
