Looks like it. Have I been watching too much Billions or am I right to conclude that (1) mgt will have to acquire control of enough shares to stave off the takeover effort, driving the price near or to offer price, (2) offeror will be picking up as many shares as it can to support its takeover effort and hope to average the price down, (3) offeror likely didn't put its top dollar bid on the table and still has powder.

They all sounds right to me. Takeover offer contingent on offeror garnering over 50%. Anyone have an analysis of the current leadership’s share position?
Seems like even if the takeover fails, the stock price has to adjust close to the value of the offer, right?

I did notice that all offers in the press release were in Canadian dollars but that shouldn't make a huge difference right? I have no idea what the canadian dollar is worth to USD..
