BTC's going to bottom in the $4,000's. I just bought sizable stakes in NEO, LTC, and XRP and will add more as it continues to go down as I anticipate.

But prices for NEO, LTC, and XRP are way too cheap right now to not be in it. Especially when everything can rebound in a hurry.

And it WILL rebound. Why I love crypto is that there are too many lucrative and revolutionary ideas for it to just go away. It's like the idea of electricity. It was going to happen and prosper one way or another.

Then you add in the fact that the prosperity of crypto is not contingent on any single company or entity. Millions of people are involved across the globe and contribute to its foundation every day.

This idea will never die and it's just a matter of time before it thrives.

Maybe I went too “all in”, but it’s costed me a ton so far. Wondering how many it’s affected worldwide, has to be a crazy number.

I just looked at the big four (really three) cryptos for the first time in weeks. And holy cow......I sold my BTC for a decent profit at $9,900+ (can't recall the exact figure then) and I couldn't be more thankful for that. I watched it for a few days afterward and it immediately started going south. But I don't think I would have anticipated sub-$6,000 that quickly.

You guys that still have it, hold it. I imagine it has to rebound at some point, but you haven't lost it til you've sold it.

Just remember when your down 70% you just need to go up 300% to break even. But yup you don’t lose money until you sell...

I bought several coins early in 2017, including ripple and stellar under a penny, now I am worried about my taxes...any tax professionals that specialized in crypto that anyone recommends or who you use?

Why would anyone buy XRP. Its only association with Ripple labs is that they bought most of them a while back and have made people mistakenly beleive that it may be used in their business.

I’m wondering if I should buy more LTC or not. When I first bought into it it was like 55-60 so I’m not hurting super bad on it. Is it even worth it to buy more? All of this stuff keeps plummeting

Not saying this is an optimal strategy lol...but I got tired of holding for so long and decided to re-up and bought like 15 or 20 more LTC yesterday.

I went in on BTC and ETH as well, sticking with the big 3 for now.

/biz/ has a thread going saying there's rumblings that Zuckerberg is going to purchase coinbase.

Apparently a Facebook product manager is on the board for coinbase.

Also, it's especially interesting because Facebook recently reversed their decision to ban crypto ads.
