It depends. Mine have taken anywhere from 5-30 minutes.
You can track how many confirmations have completed and how many are left in your trade history.

FWIW... It was a joke
ETA: seriously guys, if you look, I have dropped $1.7k into the market since last Friday... I'm not ACTUALLY crying over $30

I will when I get more expendable income. I'm putting in any extra I'm willing to lose.
I think my next move is going to be $250 into ripple

Baws, I figured out how to buy Ripple using Litecoin on Binance. I now have $100 in Ripple.

Just bought COSS & XRB as my 2018 high risk coins.
XRB is the truth! Made a transfer from exchange to Raiwallet in 5 seconds. Pretty under the radar right now and only on two shitty exchanges but when it gets added to larger exchanges, watch out.

So last week I set up a coinbase account and bought 1 Litecoin and 0.0175 Bitcoin. Now I'm scared I won't be able to stop.

You'll hit the transaction limit eventually

When everything crypto takes a 25% dump in a single day, which has happened a few times and will happen again, you will become more disciplined. Right now everything has basically just gone up the past couple weeks so the new people don't know what those dark days are like

Me, a newbie: I hope it goes up forever
Also me: plunge so i can buy *evil laughter*

I'm personally just trying to get in right now myself....
If it were to drop 25% or more I would just go on a buying spree

What are yalls thoughts on coinbase potentially adding other cryptos to their exchange? Trying to get in on some alts before they get added. The prices will surely shoot up once they make it to coinbase and they are easier for everyone to buy.
As of December 8th:
Basically know not all these coins will be in it for the longhaul just like not every dotcom was truely worth it’s price in the 90s. But damn I’d love to go back and buy amazon

Those market caps are completely obsolete now FWIW. Most of those have more than doubled in 10 days
ETA- to answer your question, I think the top chances of going on Coinbase are Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Monero, Ripple

Just an fyi. I converted a few eth to xrp today on changelly. Took about 12 nervous hours. I now have 3000 xrp and it's climbing the same as ETH.

Sorry guys I’m late to the party but I see a chance here to make some cash. I have a couple grand do spend. How Can I most effectively get in on crypto. Ripple seems like a good bet from my novice eyes.

Do you already have funds in an exchange?
1st you have to move US$ into coinbase, Gemini or kraken. This will take uploaded drivers license, phone and computer. Also set up the Google Authenticator app. And write down everything. You’ll need it whenever you get a new phone.
From there, branch to wherever you need to go to buy your picks. You’ll have to understand public and private keys. Set up accounts. Transfer like coins to like coins. And not screw that up.
This step alone could take a week or so.
And buying is something you’ll have to learn to do as you are bidding on cryptos. Not just retail buying.
Next you’ll need to figure out how to store them. If you leave them in the exchange, you don’t control or even know the private key, So they could disappear if the exchange goes belly-up.
So you have to get a Wallet to transfer them to. Maybe 2-3 to hold them all, depending on the type of coin or token. Paper, hard, pc, phone, online, offline? Lots of Wallet types. What’s best for you?
You’ll also need to plan for securely protecting your passwords and backups. What happens if you die? Are they lost? What if your house burns down or your computer gets taken out by a power surge or a hacker?
You have to think thru all that and plan accordingly. There is no bank protecting you and your money.
ETA: Sorry for the tl:dr.
