Basically you need to transfer from Coinbase to something like Bittrex or Binance, seems to be the most common trading platforms. I mainly use Bittrex but have some in Binance since not every coin is listed on every exchange, most of the key ones are though. The ones you listed are on both of those.
Transfer from your Coinbase LTC wallet to your Bittrex/Binance LTC wallet. From there you can use LTC to buy either ETH or BTC, to then use to buy other coins.

I just transferred a very small amount of LTC from Coinbase to Binance, trying to test the waters before moving a larger amount.
I had 6/6 verification on transfer and funds are completely transferred. When I go to FUNDS, it shows, my LTC coin, total balance, available balance, BTC VALUE. Can some one treat me like a small child and explain what I need to do next to make purchases? IS there another step before I can purchase? I tried to purchase a very low value coin OST. ON the purchase screen (Buy OST, Limit or Market) it shows a BTC balans: 0.00000. DO I have to convert my LTC to BTC??? I want to do this small amount before moving larger funds. THanks

Got tempted into dipping into the crypto pool today and bought a LTC. Started out rising up a bit on the day and now it just keeps going down. This is worse than sitting at the tables in Vegas. At least there they bring me drinks while I lose my money

go to binance
click on exchange
go to the top right and click on either btc,eth,usdt, or bnb
type LTC in the search box
you can sell your ltc for any of the 4 above and buy coins with those
before you sell your LTC, look at the coin you want to buy and see if you can buy it with btc,eth,bnb,or usdt
pick the one you want
click on exchange

I'm trying to figure out how much (total $) I'm willing to put into BTC before I HODL. Currently at $600 but want to get up to atleast $1000 and then reconsider. If I leave it at $1000 and it gets up over $100k (hypothetical) would the profit be worth it? Or do I need to keep investing?
