When rates are low you lock in. When rates are rising you get an ARM for a lower rate and take a risk the rates will go down over the next 3/5/7 years to lock then.
Octopus has me down pretty significantly in crypto. I am still buying BTC and SOL every month the same as when they were at 60k and 150. I still think these are discount buys for long term. If I were 65-75 years old I would be bitter, though.
