I felt like it was just a matter of time before the spread closed. I was hoping it would close with ETH moving up and not BTC moving down. Looks like it is closing the spread to the good side.

Wow...the streak wasn't looking good earlier. I'm sure it is somewhere on twitter, but have you seen anyone point out when the last time we've had 9 green in a row?

Saylor was just on CNBC. I love/hate watching him because I want to liquidate everything I have and buy more BTC.

usually they just cram words into these bills so it sounds good on paper

doubt there will be any significant changes in crypto taxes but who knows

I may have listened to too much Saylor. I look at my alt holding and think how much more Bitcoin I would have if they weren't in my bag.

He is the reason I bought BTC at the top.

And at the bottom.

And will eventually sell the house and the dogs for more BTC.

No, but some of the people I follow are raising the alarm to get your shite off of exchanges because of that bill

I’m at an even 50/50 split cold wallet/exchange

Call it a hedge against the worst timeline.

it's the same group of people who want you to buy cold storage wallets from them, lol

they've been yelling about self custody for years. when everyone started using blockfi and Celsius for interest.

I'm not even sure what would be in the bill to make it so your coins on the exchange would be impacted

I’ve had that philosophy for a while, whatever is in this bill doesn’t change it. The portion in the exchange reflects my contingency if my cold wallet becomes compromised/destroyed and my recovery seed suffers the same fate and the portion in a cold wallet reflects my fear that the exchange may one day be compromised for some reason.

This bill has specific language around digital assets though. I still need to read the language

If I had a fireproof safe, I'd get a cold wallet. I just have a little fire resistant safe that'd probably melt in seconds...mostly to keep shite from the maids. Instead I have my shite everywhere in multiple exchanges and hot wallets which also presents certain issues.

So if you drop the little drive and the lcd or something doesn't work, but it's still intact structurally. Can they recover it or are you boned?
