I’ll be completely honest, I have no idea what you’re talking about when you talk about yield farming

It seems both unnecessarily complex and interesting at the same time

Ok, now this looks to be a rejection of $40k Fug

This is setting up to be the third time to challenge $40k in the last four days. It looks like it is going to go through that resistance this time. It could be setting up for a pop here.

well a lot of shorts were liquidated and I'm not sure if they're ballsy enough to try again

I agree if we break 42k, this will move

I'll be honest, that kinda made my day. I'm hoping that ETH tags along for the ride and gains momentum too. Curious to see if 40k gets testing tonight or early hours tomorrow. I think it pushes through IMO

EIP 1559 on Aug 4th will be telling for ETH. I think that pushes ETH through 2.4k and into 2.5 and upwards.

It topped 40, bounced back, then slammed to $40.220.

It got up to 40,500 last time. Doesn't mean this one will last.

I put my stacked BTC, ETH, MATIC in Aave, take out over collateralized loan (I don't cross 50% of TLV.. so never more than half of my collateral) in USDC. Just in Aave alone I get some returns, but I can take that USDC and either stick it into stablecoin LPs for extra returns, or I can do other LPs and stake the LP tokens somewhere for extra gains.

For example, I'm riding on Dinoswap farming right now. They have big VC backers and aim to be the Pancakeswap of Polygon. I flip half of the USDC to DINO, put it in an LP on Sushiswap, and stake the LP token on Dinoswap for 900+% APR, paid in DINO token. The DINO token has also gone up since I originally put money in, so I've made a nice profit off of it in addition to the 900% APR. I take the earned rewards and buy more blue chip crypto with it (BTC, ETH) and put that into AAVE... Which, over time, enables me to safely take more leverage.

Obviously with this kinda APR there's significant risk and I check on it multiple times a day. A safer way to yield farm is to stick the loaned USDC into stablecoin LPs that generate rewards, like on Quickswap they pay you 4-5% in their QUICK token on top of the LP rewards.

It's complicated as shite, but it allows me to keep exposure to my stacked blue chips while earning passive income on the loaned amount.

ETH is up more in 30 days and BTC is up more in 7 days. I think ETH jumped the gun a little, stumbled, and was passed by BTC. I think ETH will find its feet and start running with BTC again.

Blame me. I got into ETH over the weekend. Before that I’d been all BTC.
