I’m a value guy so don’t get me wrong in thinking I chase stocks selling at 25x sales. What I’m saying is that NVDA has proven that they have the best product in the world not named the iPhone and the applications for the product are just coming into existence. They have unlimited pricing power and their PEG is unknown because the TAM is anyone’s guess at this point.
Chips are everything and NVDA is the cream of the crop. Idk how we didn’t see this coming TBH. One crucial component that is very difficult to design and manufacture so that the companies doing it great have a natural moat

Crazy! To think less than a few months ago it got down to 150!

Yep I missed that one. I though the market in chips would be flat for a while with AMD and Intel down.

And now with such a run over the last few weeks I am hesitant to buy at this point, but then again NVDA may go to 450 and AMD may hit 150!
One thing is for sure they are growth stocks and if you plan on holding long term then I don't think you can go wrong with either. Swing playing and day trading seem to be risky right now.

TSM is the one who manufactures the chips for NVDA.
It is surging today, but NVDA and AMD are at the mercy of their pricing.

Admittedly there should be concerns about whether there is any type of moat in the long-term future but companies that print money and have excellent leadership tend to figure that ou
They essentially sell a commodity. Congrats if you made money but it’s a cult stock (like Tesla).

CNBC constantly pumps this stock because the next big thing is always right around the corner. Good company, good growth. But at 1T valuation, i'll watch from the sidelines.

Bro.... I've bought several times over the past 5 years. My last buy was mid-October at $112.5

So a company that generates roughly $40B in annual revenue should have a $1T market cap? What world are you living in?
Put another way..
Google has a market cap roughly 50% higher than NVDA. But annual revenue is ~700% higher. Makes sense

Exactly! It's mind-boggling. I like how another poster compared NVDA to the new TSLA.
Again I'm not complaining as a share holder, but the stock is definitely detached from reality.

NVDA is set with AI in its data center model to dominate.
Appears any company that makes a meaningful AI product is set to run, reminiscent of the Dot Com run in the late 90s.
If you feel you missed out, QCOM is betting AI interface will be on the edge devices (mobile, automotive, IOT, etc.) and all interconnected. Their partnership with MSFT validates this approach as it’s less expensive than storage.
If they are right (and Mobile dominates internet and social media campaigns), you’ll see a similar surge on the processors that support the edge devices for AI.
