Before all this what was Canada and Mexico tariff rate against the United States? What was U.S. tariff rate towards them? I’m just curious since people are saying it was unfair. If it is so unfair, why export from them?
I understand it’s not a flat rate for all imports and we “need” some resources.

NAFTA became the USMCA in 2020. Here is what the President said about the new USMCA agreement at the time.
"The USMCA is the fairest, most balanced, and beneficial trade agreement we have ever signed into law. It’s the best agreement we’ve ever made, and we have others coming."
I also would like to know exactly what this is about. I am pretty sure it is not about Fentanyl.
