Don't get too excited. Market manipulators are crafty bastages. The will ride the wave up and once people start taking profits and there is a little downward momentum, they will strike and try to push the momentum hard back down, as they release stories about the risk of too much capex for a company like NBIS...

Is this run possibly because of earnings sentiment? Hard to believe an aquisition could be this good of news

Do you even remember what you're holding?
I think the swings in both directions are probably huge. Like I said, this upward swing is probabably going to be followed by a huge downward movement. They drive it up, sell, and then drive it down. Buy the dip, and rinse and repeat.
I'm guessing IT_Dawg is having a field day, OR he's pissed of because he sold too early...

Been in it for over a year, thinking of collecting on my 168% gain and holding out to jump back in when the dip that is sure to come hits. Decisions, decisions.

Someone had that plan after the run from 113 to 140 and it went to 169 the next few days. 50/50 bet. Id be more inclined to buy some puts

40 percent upfront is just unheard off. Super positive.

I assume this is details of the Fall 2025 deal?
Incredible!
Edit: Yeah just saw the 20F - that is a really impressive get across the 9 tranches. Saves either billions in dilution or hundreds of millions in interest.
Much much larger upfront than IREN and Coreweave have managed at at such a large deal amount. Love it.

in the 20F it is mentioned they want to sell of Avride completely. Not sure how to take it. I was pretty pumped about its prospects but i guess it makes sense business wise.

They may make more than what we think. 5-10bn could be really useful right now.

That would make sense, to me. I like the move and with earnings coming up, it will take mitigate the criticism of too much spending on capex and help them get to profitability quicker.

SA with a very positive article
quote:
Summary Nebius Group remains a top neocloud pick, with a bullish rating and 42-138% upside potential over two years.
NBIS's $643M Eigen AI acquisition is pivotal, enabling a transition from IaaS to higher-margin PAAS and differentiation from rivals.
Execution is strong: 2025 ARR beat guidance at ~$1.2B, Q4 sales surged 547% YoY, and CAPEX is well-funded with minimal dilution risk.
Key Q1 earnings catalysts include ARR trajectory, EBITDA resilience, and operational updates on hyperscaler deployments and pricing power.
I remain bullish on NBIS, seeing a 2-year upside potential at 42-138%, depending on the market’s willingness to reprice Nebius for its execution.
