It’ll be ok. Still long in the stock and feel good about the next several years. Never a straight line up!

The market didn’t like perceived shitcos or inflated names announcing deals a day after everyone saw that Altman is defensive cry baby who cannot be questioned.

This really fricking sucks because we were flying high into earnings.
Now I’m afraid the market may be so spooked that earnings won’t matter (see PLTR).

I hope this is just my fear and not the reality. None of this has much to do with NBIS, but it looks as if we will be punished. Damn.

Planning to do a big reposition today. Selling it all, rebuying at lower strikes when it starts to uptick. Sucks, but decay with these drops is absolutely killing me.

Will be day trading the rest of the week

I'm going to admit that I got too far over my skis. My strategy was to shift to 50/50 options/shares through Q4 earnings in February and then switch back to 95% shares after Q4. In my mind, I saw that the market was set up perfectly to do that, and I was going to make big bucks. I got greedy, and tried to take a short cut to the finish line. I wanted to do in 6 months what I intended to do in 2 years. That strategy looked like it might work YESTERDAY.

The market has other ideas.

I also want to point out that two weeks ago, this stock was at $95/share. Yesterday, it was at $134 and change. Things can change fast.

Having said that, we also need a dose of reality. The 11/14 $150s that were green yesterday morning are probably not going to be big money makers.

The market doesn't know Nebius. It doesn't care what you think it's worth. It acts and reacts on stupid stuff, like how Sam Altman phrased a particular answer.

I am going to evaluate where I am and figure out the best option going forward. Do I want to hang on to an option that expires next week and is $30 OTM? Should I play it conservative and get out completely and invest in index funds until I have a better feel for the market? Something in between?

Can it come back? Sure. We saw it last week. I personally am going to do what IT_DAWG is doing. I'm not going to sell everything, as I still have some options that I like, but some stuff is marginal, and I'm going to sell some in order to get the capital to roll some others. I'm not going to depend on earnings day to save everything.

I'm not an expert, but that is my strategy.

Are you doing that with the 11/21s as well? Or just your 11/7s and 11/14s?

I unloaded my 11/7s at the end of yesterday when I saw people not holding overnight. I’m selling all my 11/21 and most of my shares, but keeping my 12/19 $140c

Will day trade this week to see where we sit. There is a much bigger force at work here and I don’t like it one bit. Sucks cause NBIS honestly doesn’t deserve this treatment, but losing $500k over two days is going to suck…but still position myself when she turns around.

NBIs is not like PLTR that is waaaaay overvalued right now.

You are just selling calls or liquidating everything?

Crushed guidance too, but when the entire sector gets attacked, nothing can stop it. People are once again fearful of the bubble and PLTR is trading like 100x earnings, there P/E is like 250, which is crazy when the mag 7 are all like 35-40

Got it lined up to sell everything except 500 shares and 12/19 $140c

I’m going to be hovering over them all and see what happens when she opens…
