I try to be a little defensive on these fed weeks lately.
Interesting. Agree the past 9 months, but I see this as a big fed week. We will know at 2pm tomorrow. Lowering of the rates will shoot up NASDAQ and S&P. Companies that rely heavily on clients borrowing should benefit the most

Nothing’s a sure thing but I haven’t made any moves yet.
What he says will matter more than the cut. Unless it’s .5
If he cuts .25 and speaks hawkishly about the future, the market will sell off.

well, I don't have nervous of the skin in the game as you guys - but the November calls I'm keeping with without any kind of worry about tomorrow - and I hope to keep building shares slowly but surely.
The day trading Gabbett hit my first day in three where I couldn't close out. I have 14 9/19 90s - if profitable before the fat announcement I'm probably yanking - if not, I'll let it ride, but yes, fed days scare me

I’d like a brief pop in the morning.

I was sitting on a number of calls with NBIS that expired within a week that I had considered cashing out at a 90% loss but decided to just let them expire. They closed at $0.30 that day when the MSFT deal hit and I sold them for around $16 the next morning.
After that with the volatility of this stock I want some open positions at all times. I thought $90 calls a week ago would be easy money but man, that seems to be the front in this battle. My earliest expiration is 10/10 so there’s time but if this touches $95 to $97 I’m cashing in.

Totally agree. It would be almost negligent to ignore.

Following NVDA on China news.
Could be better…

Yea, sucks. Seems like every time she’s ready to pop big again, something happens.
However, this could be slightly good news. The ban prohibits buying NVDA chips, but perhaps buying services from NBIS is the answer and way around it….. ;)

No kidding. Got lucky on all the calls I bought at close yesterday, was very nervous premarket…also go lucky on selling off a couple hundred shares of NVDA. Still holding 800 over there, but I don’t see NVDA doubling in the next 18 months, but I do see NBIS doubling in the next 12 months or sooner….

BWS upgraded to $130 as well

That was yesterday, and no offense to BWS, but they are not going to move a stock like GS can. Obviously, it’s great news when any analysts start raising their targets on a stock, especially when they align with the others.

I’m seeing little resistance until $94, then $95 and then not again until $100.
Not saying it’s coming today, but this thing is ready. The shorts will not be happy seeing the PT raise. Gonna be a battle this morning.

You could see this coming a mile away. The only thing that’s surprising is that they didn’t run it up over $100 before changing their target.

To be fair, the 3 groups work completely independent from one another and there are many many policies in place to ensure they stay that way. It is also very heavily monitored.
GS would not risk breaking those rules for the peanuts (to them) they will profit on NBIS
Now that being said, obviously once one arm does something and it becomes public, the other arm is going to react accordingly

Looks like AI stocks as a whole are down, pre-market.
I hope the GS bump takes pushes us up today. I have some 10/3 calls at 105 that I'm concerned about.
