I’ll bite, the polar opposite is true too. There are plenty of people who have cheered as entire industries have left the country, decimating small town economies and forcing tons of people on government assistance all in the name of free trade, marginally cheaper widgets, and a better stock price. The same people who complain about government entitlement spending shooting through the roof have nothing to say when these industries offshore to help their stock price. They don’t see any connection at all.
Not saying this tariff plan will solve the problem, but the free trade at all costs crowd loves to act like they are innocent bystanders to the economic shifts that have gotten us here.

Walmart started this shite when they started building superstores on the edges of small town USA.

That's the funniest part to me. It's all about "owning the libs." Who cares if you damage the economy. Truly amazing times

I wonder why there were so many other casinos in atlantic city that didn't make it?

I know, right? The entire investment community as well. How can they all not see the genius in it all.
They are making money off the downturn. You ever wonder if this would influence their public squawking? Sounds like it is in their best interest to convince everyone to panic.

The economy has been garbage for the last 4 years
If y’all left the email job cubicle and hob knobbed with the hoi polloi you’d realize that

That’s weird. My broad market investments have been up around 18% each of the last two years and yet they are down at least 10% in the past two months.
Trying to figure out what the common denominator is….

Some true cultists over there. I'm MAGA but this tariff rollout was a disaster. Should have just given countries "X" days to lift their existing tariffs on U.S. goods or face consequences. The formula they used to calculate the reciprocal tariff % is idiotic and blasted countries like Vietnam and Israel that already had made concessions to try to maintain free trade. Trump is finished if he can't get his way out of this pickle he's put himself in.

I'll post as much as I please. It's glaringly obvious that you do.

Investments aren’t the real world and the stock market is divorced from the real economy

Same talking point liberals use when the market is up.

So the value of all of these US companies has nothing to do with the real economy? They are divorced from it?
Is that really what you believe?
Do you even know how the US stock market works?

They would absolutely be having a shite storm if this were happening under democratic leadership.
Trump could slit people's throats on live TV and the poli board would still line up to suck his dick.
Belief perseverance is a hell of a drug.

This is my problem. We needed to fix the trade tariffs and such. This fricking clown show of how it’s been handled would make me think a backwoods La politician was in charge with how bad this has been done.
