The final should be interesting. I wonder if it's a compilation of everything or specific to the last couple of weeks?

I'm pretty sure it's a compilation of the 1st three exams plus the SimQuick stuff we'll learn.

does anyone have experience with ACCT 701 with Jo Ann McGee? I want to double up for the first time, but unsure. Thanks!

Took it a long time ago. Most of it was through Cengage. I didn't care for it.

Paul do you think it is something I should double up with MADM 701?

Also, anyone have any info on BADM 790: Business Analytics?

No way. I wouldn't do that.

Accounting
ISDS
Econ

All should be taken solo in my opinion.

Did you tackle Vines test 2 yet?

I only had 1 math problem this time. :(

I'm going to double up those same 2 either next session or Fall 1. However, accounting is my undergrad and profession for the last 24 years. I wouldn't feel comfortable doubling those up if not.

Not yet! I probably won't get to it until Tuesday morning. Sounds like I'll be having a lot of short answer questions.

Does anyone have any advice on the two classes that require the least amount of work? Am am starting the program in May, however my job's summer schedule is brutal so I want to take as light of a load as I can. I'll probably take one class per session until the fall where I only work four days a week. Then I can possible double up on class work. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Willinger99, don't know your background but if Vines is teaching FIN 701 this summer, it's probably the least amount of work. It's a lot of reading and problems but no busy work at all. 4 tests, each 10 questions with 1 hr. time limit.

I plan on taking the test this afternoon after work. You had 9 short answer and 1 problem?

This course rotates topics. Does anyone know what it will be covering next?

Anyone knows if there's a way to see where you rank within the MBA program?

Hi Paul,

I am new to this page, but I have noticed you have provided some good advice to others. I am taking MADM 701 and MADM 752 for Summer AP1. Would you say this match is doable?

Hey all,

New here as well. Really appreciate the input you've all provided over the past few months. Spent some time reading through each page and it really has given me a good insight to the overall program.

My first class will be this AP1 and registration just opened today so just wanted to get some final input. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of choices for AP1 so I'm thinking of Fin701 with Vines and then AP2 going with MADM 760 with Meeks.

Any concern with starting with those?

CDNJ you should be good with those 2 to start out. FIN 701 does require effort and study time. The chat sessions are very helpful. I am currently doing MADM 760 with Meeks and if you are looking to double up any on the program that would be a very good class to do so. I have paired it with FIN 730 with Vines and it has been manageable. Don't pair it with ECON 705, to me that has been the most difficult class so far, although i am only in my 4th class now.

Yes, it is doable, but be wary of the heavy workload pertaining to writing assignments for both courses.

Those are not too bad to start off with, the only thing I would caution about Vines is its only 4 test grades for the class no fluff or anything else, so if you are uneasy/nervous about starting the program or you are typically a bad test taker I would wait to take that class later on. Just my two cents, definitely an easy class though, read the chapters according to reading guide, do practice test and watch the zoom session recordings.

ISDS 702 this week...what is everyone focusing on? It's hard to gauge because there is no problems to reinforce concepts.
