re: LSUS Online MBA Reviews

I am thinking about getting mine. My employer will be paying for it fortunately. I'm in between project management and international business specialization. Anybody in these programs have any comments on them?
Last check paid less
Posted by LittleAce on 10/14/17 at 12:29 pm
I just received my last check from my previous employer and noticed it was lower than expected. Upon inspection of the stub they only paid me 24 hours worth of my raise and 16 hours worth of my previous rate. Also, they paid me the previous rate for my annual leave payout. I feel like this is BS. I dug through the human resources book and cannot find anything stipulating this. I left on good terms, 2 weeks notice. Ever heard of something like this?
Giving your wife a Dutch oven has got to be top 5 harmless revenge
Are y'all on alright terms? Ask if she would be willing to work something out without child support.

lol sorry, actually some family bought/gifted us that vehicle.
re: What's your employer contribution to your 401K?
Posted by LittleAce on 9/26/17 at 6:27 pm to Northwestern tiger
50¢ for each $1.00 contributed by the employee; up to 5 % of your base salary.
Is this a crappy plan? I just graduated and got hired and this is there 401k plan

Negotiating salary
Posted by LittleAce on 8/25/17 at 2:57 pm
I was just in a interview and I was asked to give a salary range. I believe I lowballed myself :/ I should've said I wasn't prepared to answer on the first interview. Will this affect my potential offer down the road?

Thank you. With that said, can anyone recommend a good PT in Lafayette?

I personally wouldn't. Theyre trying to control as much as they can. Don't let them, just file with their insurance and be done with them if you aren't hurt.
Bought a new 2016 in 16' for 43,000. Wouldn't budge on price because of high demand.
PS I'd look at the touring model because of lane assist and gps. I goofed on that

I really need to get off of my arse and do this. I've been with State Farm and the rates are ridiculous. Can anyone recommend a good independent agent in Lafayette?
Lafayette resident here and geico customer. Nearest agent is in BR.
Purchased mine online with no agent. They gave me a headache

I hope you have applied for all the public assistance that's available to you/your family.
Yea, I've swallowed my pride and do receive some assistance. My goal is to be independent of course. My wife suggested possibly moving short-term just to gain experience, which I am open to. Gonna send out some more applications around the area and if no dice, I will explore LC or BR possibilities.

So become a professional surveyor. You may already have the qualifying courses....or you may need just a few more to sit for the exam
I've actually looked into this. According to LAPELS. I need 21 additional hours in surveying courses but I won't be able to get a registered license because none of higher ups in my dept. has a RPLS, so I'd be stuck at intern level.
My wife stays at home to care for my disabled child.
I turned in some apps to lemoine and local GC's no word back though ¯\_(?)_/¯
Sorry if it seems as though I'm shutting down every idea. Thanks for yalls input.

I'm willing to commute within a ~45 minute drive. I'm a rodman on a survey crew for state government.

Any recommendations?
Discover card, it has the best cash back rewards in the beginning.
After your first year you get dollar for dollar match on all the cash back you've earned.

I worked as a helper for a electrical construction company before I went back to school. I realize me not wanting to move is a damper on career choices, but I really don't want a house note with my student loans. I'm sure anybody can understand that.
Yeah Im not moving. I have a paid off house, plus I like my kids school zone.
Currently reside in Lafayette. My skill set is what I've learned in school such as cad programs, electronic circuits, basic hydraulics, construction courses, and CNC. I've worked in manufacturing doing some machining, fabrication, and welding.
Time for a career change. Advice?
Posted by LittleAce on 7/23/17 at 5:30 pm
I'll try to not get too long winded. Currently I'm not happy with my current pay and career (35k). I currently hold a bachelors in industrial technology c/o 16'. I would like to Possibly get into o&g or construction management. Also I have a family of 4 so I can't really relocate. I have applications out but no luck since graduating a year ago. Any tips?
